Brugge Belguim

In Bruges Belgium today, weather is beautiful and so is the town. It's a medieval city with buildings and churches dating to the thirteenth century. We leave for London tonight and have a tour of Windsor Castle tomorrow afternoon. Peggy just had a Belgium waffle with the works in the town square, we're heading to the train station heading back to the port in Blankenberg in a bit.

In Amsterdam today. Its hard to see it in a day but were trying our best. We had a snack at the Irish pub Cory and I spent time in a few years ago. Be in Belgium tomorrow, will try to post photos tomorrow.

Coppenhagen

Having a great time in Coppenhagen, the weather is still good, around 75. We walked the old part of the city earlier and took an afternoon boat ride through the various canals. Just stopped for lunch and to get online. Yesterday, Klaipeda was nice but small. We visited two history museums and found as was the case in most of Europe, they had been ruled for the last 1,000 years by either the Germans or Russians until recently. We'll be in Germany tomorrow and will try and send photos...

We're in Tallin Estonia today. It's 28 degrees celcius or around 80 degrees F. Tallin is a medieval city founded in the 12 th century. Its been in and out of the hands of the Russians and Germans over the years but is currently an independend state. We're having lunch in the old town square and it's really beautiful out.

Helsinki

The weather was beautiful in Helsinki. We walked the city stopping into the train station
, senate building and two cathedrals. Uspenski Catherdral built in the Russian Byzantine style in 1868. Church in the Rock was carved out of a granite hill. We'll be in St. Petersburg, Russia the next three days and may not have Internet. If not, we'll sent photos once we arrive in Latvia.

Stockholm

Enjoying Stockholm . Weather is beautiful, 75 and sunny. Inside the Stockholm cathedral which was built in the 14th century. The outdoor cafe where we enjoyed Swedish meatballs is on the corner. They were delicious .

Layover at O'Hare

We're off to London then to Stockholm. Arrive Stockholm tomorrow around noon local time.
